Smoothies are a fast, healthy treat that you can prepare quickly using whatever fruit and greens you have in the kitchen. I keep small batches of bananas and berries in our freezer at all times so we can prepare smoothies with whatever greens we have available that day.
1-2 frozen bananas
1- 1⁄2 cup apple juice (more/less depending on
how sweet you want it)
2 cups water
2 cups raw kale
1-2 tsp fresh ginger
2 tbsp almond butter (optional)
2 tbsp Spiralina or green health powder (optional)
1) Put frozen bananas, apple juice and all other ingredients into a blender, blend until smooth, and enjoy!
