Sautéed Broccolli Rabe

Broccoli rabe is a type of broccoli that has very thin stems and is sold in individual stems rather than as a whole bunch. It cooks quickly and is delicious. INGREDIENTS 1 pound Broccoli rabe

3 cloves garlic 2 tbsp olive oil 1⁄4 tsp salt 1⁄4 tsp pepper

1) Wash broccoli rabe and cut o stems about 1-2 inches on bottom

2) Place broccoli rabe gently into steamer

3) Steam until broccoli is just about soft, about 3 minutes

4) Take out of steamer and put aside

5) Sauté minced garlic until soft, about 1-2 minutes

6) Add steamed broccoli to sauté and cook 2-3 minutes more

7) Add salt and pepper to taste
