Roasted Portobello Mushrooms

Portobello mushrooms are large and have a deep flavor. In this version I combine them with garlic and nuts and roast them. They have a thick consistency and meaty texture and are extremely nutritious, like so many other mushrooms. INGREDIENTS 6 large Portobello mushrooms 4 cloves Garlic 2 tbsp Olive oil 1 tbsp Balsamic vinegar 1 cup Almonds or Pine Nuts

1) Wash and gently dry mushrooms with paper towel

2) Place mushrooms in pan

3) Mince the garlic and then mix the garlic, olive oil and vinegar in a small bowl

4) Pour sauce over the mushrooms and sauté mushrooms for 6-7 minutes until they are soft

5) When they are done, sprinkle with toasted and sliced almonds or toasted pine nuts
