Almond Butter

Almond butter is a huge treat in our house. We spread it on apples, celery, and ax seed crackers. It’s so good for you, and tastes so good, that we often eat it right out of the jar. INGREDIENTS 2 cups almonds (raw or baked) 1⁄2 teaspoon of water

1) Place a small amount of almonds into a blender

2) Blend until smooth, adding very small amounts of water as needed to get the consistency you like

3) Keep adding small amounts of nuts and water until you have no more almonds

4) Put blended almond butter into a glass jar

5) Refrigerate and use within two weeks.
